Graphic Designer – Print & Online position currently vacant
We are looking for a talented National Graphic Designer for our Online and Print needs across SAE Institute and Qantm College. You will be reporting to the National Marketing Director and work on both National and Campus activities.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a corporate brand guide.

Produce engaging, relevant, accurate and consistent print and online designs in the
company voice.

Oversee regular digital communications and provide relevant content.

Discuss design concepts, prepare briefs with Campus Marketing Officers and
National Marketing Communications Manager.

Design and publish print materials required for SAE and Qantm marketing – including
but not limited to: advertising to appear in 3rd party publications, prospectus, brochures, stationery, flyers, banners, posters, outdoor billboards, reports, certificates, newsletters;

Take responsibility for all pre-press activities to ensure that files provided to printers and publishers are complete and quality-optimised;

Ensure that all copy supplied in marketing materials is spell-checked, correct and error-free;

Coordinate and schedule national media deadlines and ensure that materials are delivered to the publishers in the correct format and on time;

Alongside the National Marketing Communications Manager, plan, develop and implement design materials to be used in internal and external strategies;

Source, graphic images including portfolio materials and photographs from SAE and Qantm campuses;

Work with the National Marketing Communications Manager, National Marketing and the local Campus Marketing Officers to produce accompanying graphic materials for promotional items as necessary;

Ensure currency and suitability of marketing brochures and promotional material;

Seek the appropriate approvals for expenditure;

Seek the appropriate approvals before publishing work;

Develop a professional approach to customer focused marketing;

Successfully conduct and develop marketing and promotional activities to improve the profile of and revenue for the Institute;
-
Develop and foster growth in the overall annual number of course enquiries;
-
Other duties as requested by management.
- Liaise with external teams and companies where required.
Experience Required:
-
Graphic Design qualifications and at least 3 years experience in print and online advertising.

Experience in all stages of production including pre-press knowledge.

Excellent communication skills.

Keen eye for detail and consistency: art working and proofing copy.

Experience writing and delivering design briefs and specifications.

Efficient, reliable, shows initiative, hard working, flexible, team player.

Organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
and manage multiple deadlines.

Able to multi task.

Experience working to brand guidelines.

Ability to take and follow direction.

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator and some Flash) on Mac.

Familiarity with HTML5, CSS technologies.

Experience using content managed systems (CMS).
-
Comprehensive knowledge of SEO, Web standards.
