Directions to SAE Byron Bay
Directions From North (Coolangatta Airport)
Exit the Coolangatta Airport and turn right at the roundabout. Continue Straight and then veer left with the road. Turn right at the next set of lights onto the Gold Coast Highway. Continue on the Tweed Heads Bypass, follow the signs and keep left to stay on the Tweed Heads Bypass. Continue through the Tugun Bypass and then onto the Pacific Highway. Continue South on the Pacific Highway for about 55 Km then follow the signs to take the Byron Bay Exit. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Ewingsdale Rd. Notice on your Left hand side as you continue down Ewingsdale a BP Service Station, continue straight for another 300 mtrs and then take the exit lane to enter SAE Institute. Directly opposite SAE Institute Byron Bay you will see the Belongil Camping fields where Music Festivals such as The Blues and Roots, and Splendor in the Grass are held.
Highway Directions From South (Ballina Airport)
Head south exiting Ballina Airport. At the roundabout take the first exit. Turn Right at Southern Cross drive and a right again at North Creek Rd. Follow the sign for the Pacific Highway and Turn right. Continue North on the Pacific Highway for approximately 30 km and then Take the Byron Bay exit. Go straight, through the roundabout, and onto Ewingsdale Rd. Notice on your Left hand side as you continue down Ewingsdale, a BP Service Station, continue straight for another 300 mtrs and then take the exit lane to enter SAE Institute, you should notice the Navy fencing that continues for the rest of the SAE Institute Byron Bay property.
Coastal directions from South (Ballina Airport)
Head south exiting Ballina Airport. At the roundabout take the first exit. Turn Right at Southern Cross drive and then Left onto the Pacific Highway. At the Roundabout take the first exit onto Bangalow road. At the second roundabout take the first exit again onto Angels Beach Drive. Continue onto The Coast Road. Continue straight on the Coast road, through the roundabout in Lennox heads. Stay on the Coast road, continue on Byron Bay Rd, continue on Broken head Rd, continue straight through two roundabouts in suffolk park, and continue onto Bangalow road. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Browning st and veer right with the road onto Jonson St Continue straight and then take the first exit onto Shirley St at the next roundabout. Continue on Shirley St, and then onto Ewingsdale Rd. Continue on Ewingsdale for approximately 1.5 km and find the destination on the Right.
